Crankbaits

Crankbaits are hard-bodied fishing lures designed to dive and wobble through the water, imitating the swimming motion of baitfish or other prey. They feature a plastic or metal lip (bill) at the front, which determines how deep the lure dives and how aggressively it moves. Crankbaits come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and diving depths—from shallow-running squarebills to deep-diving models—making them incredibly versatile for covering water and locating active fish. With their built-in action, lifelike color patterns, and ability to provoke reaction strikes, crankbaits are excellent for catching bass, walleye, pike, and more. They’re especially effective when fished at the right depth and bounced off structure or cover.
